Seamus Grealish - Non Executive Director

In 1991 he was part of the MBO, which formed Procord Limited, a company established with the portfolio of IBM UK buildings as its first contract. The company was at the very front of the development of the then young facilities management industry and went on to achieve phenomenal success, being acquired by Johnson Controls in 1991.  In 1997 Seamus founded his own business, Coflex, which after just 5 years, was recognised as no. 6 in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 – growing from a start up to £40m turnover in just 6 years.

Seamus has an active interest in start up companies and has a track record of effectively managing businesses to succeed. In 2001 he helped to put together another start up company, Adviance Technical Solutions, bringing together the necessary start up investment, supporting the development of the initial Business Plan and giving advice and guidance to the management team through to the sale of the business in 2007.

Seamus was twice shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year awards which honour “individuals whose vision, determination and inspiration have built strong, innovative, dynamic business ventures”. He takes an active interest in the FM industry, talking at Forums and colleges, giving advice to young businesses and acting as a mentor and coach to a range of corporate leaders and start up executive teams.
